You Are Worthy

I hear this all the time: “Things are going too well for me - I’m waiting for the sky to fall.” If it’s not said directly its implied in many ways throughout a coaching conversation. Trust me, I’m not being dramatic. Learning to live your life beyond your beliefs is impossible.

Think about that for a moment. If learning to live your life beyond your beliefs is impossible what implications does that have to your life? In the long term, your internal beliefs will always drive your levels of success, failure and abundance.

My question for you today is do you believe that what you believe is really real? No matter how you answer that question the results are often behind how your respond to success and failure.

I’m not a get rich quick kind of coach. But I do believe in the power of beliefs especially as it relates to abundance, success and love in our lives. Anyone can learn to break through upper limits by reshaping their lifelong subconscious beliefs regarding abundance and scarcity.

You have infinite worth and value. I believe that my job as your coach is to help you see that I’m correct.

As someone who witnesses the power of beliefs in others lives, let me share three ways you can immediately usher in abundance through mindfully managing your thinking and beliefs.

1. Beware of your upper limits - Step one in reaching abundance in your life is to be aware that you have upper limits. How much do you feel you are worth? Can it be measured? Most of us don’t ever think about this - we do however, deal with the ramifications of limited thinking.

Ever had a professional breakthrough only to find yourself struggling in another area of life? At times upper-limit thinking even drives us to get sick. Step one is to investigate and make sure that your situation is not a result of any deep seated upper limit that is holding you back from abundance.

2. Understand where abundance come from in your life. This whole pursuit of abundance is a spiritual thing. It has to do with faith and the spiritual nature of mankind. You see, when you have a true comprehension of abundance and it’s source you can move into the rhythm of abundance in your life. You think abundance doesn’t reside outside of you - think again. As a Christian, I’m compelled to embrace the Abundance of God’s kingdom on earth - but this thinking is validated everywhere.

“The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly.” - Jesus of Nazareth

In this passage from the Bible Jesus declares life abundantly is one of his primary purposes.

“To live a pure unselfish life, one must count nothing as one's own in the midst of abundance.” -Buddha

Buddha even responds to the notion that abundance is real. There is wisdom in how we respond to abundance - however, the problem is many never get the change to respond to abundance. We don’t because we can’t believe we are worthy of it in the first place.

You are worthy of good gifts and abundance.

Abundance is a spiritual thing, and it will always take a “leap of faith” to obtain. Abundance doesn’t come from your work. It’s not the ultimate source - right? Abundance comes through your work. When you understand how God works in your life you’re free to live beyond your vocation and witness the creative ways God and the universe conspire to bring you more than you ever thought possible.

3. Living in accordance to abundance requires that we live a giving lifestyle. That we are a river of abundance and not a dam. When you make a clear path for abundance to flow you will then open yourself up to receiving more abundance in your life. Rarely do selfish and stingy people receive true abundance throughout a lifetime. The strange thing is that when you give abundance in terms of kindness, gratitude and love you will usher abundance into your life.

We usually think of abundance in terms of money, but it applies equally to happiness, love, friendships, success, and joy. When our experiences are anything but abundant.

Especially in times of financial or work stress, it’s good to remember that you are not an accident. Embracing abundance can help you realize your God-given potential.
