Together We Achieve

There is an old saying that if you see a turtle on top of a fence post it had help getting there. That image seems to get stuck in my head because it is true. I would also add cruel – but for our example true.

Everyone deserves a supportive group of people. Together we achieve more.

Take Jesus of Nazareth as an example. He did not lead alone but rather surrounded himself with a group of friends. His network of disciple changed how the world thinks, speaks, believes, and loves.

Yet, as a coach I’m surprised when well meaning people seclude themselves from others. Often the desire to pull away is based in fear. Too many of us carry around silly wounds of youth.

It doesn’t matter if you are a “Relator” or a “Woo” any combination of the 34 Clifton StrengthsFinder talent themes are strengthened by community.

Our talents and strengths are meant to be shared.

If you’re on of the many who struggle to connect with others coaching is for you. Coaching offers a source for direct feedback and encouragement that gets you unstuck.

When you become the best version of yourself everyone around you also gets better. You gain clarity while being encouraged to better yourself.

  • When you become a better mom or dad – your family is strengthened.

  • When you become a better CEO – your company feels the positive impact.

  • When you become a better student – your friends work harder.

  • When you become a better pastor – your church and community thrives.

  • When you become a better person – the universe conspires to help you succeed.

Life is precious. Time is short. Don’t waist idle time by going it alone. Your best bet towards success is to know your strengths well. Then you can learn to partner with others in a common mission at home, work and play.

It all starts with knowing your strengths and learning how to put them to work for yourself and others.
